Project Homeless Connect is an annual, one-day free event for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Kansas City.
Right now there are nearly 1700 people in Kansas City experiencing homelessness and 370 are under the age of 18.
The fifth-annual Project Homeless Connect (PHCKC) will take place on October 2, 2018 at Gregg/Klice Community Center. Participants will be given access to difficult-to-obtain services including medical services, vision care, identification procurement, food and nutrition benefits, employment assistance, housing assistance and more.
***Our role as volunteers is to work one-on-one with homeless individuals to help them navigate the services available at the event. In the past, this has been one of the most heart-changing volunteer opportunities we have participated in! Don't miss it.
